”ビールケース”に魅力を感じ「必要に応じて機能する家具」の提案。居酒屋の椅子、路地裏にある植木鉢の土台など街の風景と化したマルチに活躍するケースに、手を加えることで価値や実用性を高めた新しい道具が生まれた。 飲料メーカーごと異なる色やロゴに合わせる素材として竹集成材を使用した。真っ直ぐで細かな繊維は美しく、無機質なケース素材との相性も良く邪魔をしない。家具としての機能を考慮しながら、返却可能なようにケースには加工はしないことを心がけた。場所、状況によって機能する、人が少し興味を持つ楽しげな家具の提案を試みた。

CASE FURNITURE
By modifying the beer case, a new tool has been created that increases its value and utility. Laminated bamboo was used as a material to match the different colors and logos of different beverage manufacturers. The straight and fine fibers are beautiful and go well with the inorganic case material so they do not get in the way. While considering its function as a piece of furniture, we tried not to modify the case so that it could be returned. We have tried proposing a fun piece of furniture that would function depending on the place and situation, and that people would be somewhat interested in.
